Biltmore- Part 1 {April 7, 2011}

It's sad I haven't posted til now, sorry!  We had an awesome trip to North Carolina and took a bunch of family with us.  Mom and Dave, Ashton, Megan and Alden, and Junior's mom.  We didn't want to drive there and back in one day so Reagan wouldn't be in the car for 7ish hours so we stayed in a hotel and went back the next day with Nana.  Both days were perfect weather, we just missed the trees being in full bloom by probably a week.  Dang.  But we sure caught the ocean of tulips!  Mom and Dave took the full tour of the house so we only saw them on the walk from the car to the "HOUSE."  The rest of us spent most our time in the gardens with a quick walk of the house.

This was Reagan's first time at Biltmore, like a 2 year old cares, but she knew it was a castle.  With her love for "Too-Whitz" (Snow White) right now, and Too-Whitz's castle, she deemed this her castle.  She called it all day "My tastle!"  We only did a quick 1 hour walk through the house, just the main floor and the really gorgeous areas.  Most of the day we were outside.  They won't let anyone take pictures in the house, but it is known as the 'largest home in America' and is the most BEAUTIFUL thing I've ever seen.  I'm amazed every time we go. 

We hit the PERFECT weekend for tulips.  They are one of my favorites, and when anything is done at Biltmore, it's over the top and flawless.  That it was : )  These shots were taken right outside the entrance to the grounds, right off the main road in Asheville.  Simply amazing.
