Reagan's 4 month check up Feb 25, 2009

Well, today we went in for just a regular check up, and Reagan got 4 shots! But let me tell you, she is the toughest littal I've ever met. She cried for about 15 seconds, and then was fine. She got her thumb and went to sleep. She weighs 15 lbs 4 oz and 25 inches long, which are both in the 75% for her age. She's a big guhl!

Now even though she handled herself well, I think she still wanted to get back at me for the whole doctor thing. And she chose the changing table for her planned attack.

OH MY GOSH.

We have never had such a mess!

Let's just say that I HOPE she never comes close to covering that much square footage ever again. I mean everywhere. The lamp, down the wall, wipes container, dresser, floor, me, and of course, the changing table. I truly think it was a record poopage, that I hope never happens again. I don't think Reagan will ever NOT wear a bib. For a while it was spitting up, and now it's turning into drooling, and the occational spit up. We have tons of bibs, and amazingly, I still run out sometimes. Such is life : )

Yes, she is a thumb baby - Feb 2009

The first day Reagan sucked her thumb was New Year's Day. We tried for 3 weeks to discourage her but there just was no fighting it, and we realized it's not as bad for her as we thought. And it IS the CUTEST thing, I have to admit.

My days with Reagan... Feb 2009

Yes, yes. Reagan and her mommy. Always together. It's the best part of my life right now. I knew it would be work, being a mommy and all, but sometimes she can be a hand full! I think that's why God mad her so cute, so you can't ever be mad. And when she's smiling and giggling at me, I say "What? my baby doesn't cry, she's perfect!" It's funny how you forget those unhappy moments, everyone has them, and just take with you that cute little toothless grin. : )

I've been trying to get her on a schedule the last few weeks, and just when I think I've figured it out, she changes it all up on me. I guess that's life, and this is only the beginning...

Reagan's schedule: Up at 8, with 3 naps throughout the day (1-2 hours each) and bath right before bed around 8:30. She eats every 4-5 hours during the day, and has been sleeping through the night pretty well. Now, that is USUALLY the way things go, but she keeps changing things up on me. The hardest thing lately has been putting her down to sleep. Not everyday, but I think she gets overtired, and it literally takes her screaming for an hour before she will fall asleep. Nothing will calm her, and you want to talk about stressing me out... Whew! So, I try putting her to bed BEFORE she gets tired, and that seems to be working, but like I said, not all the time!!! I end up making her mad sometimes if she doesn't WANT to go to sleep, and then I end up with the yelling anyway! You can't win. Like I said, we do have good days too, but those rough ones give me a run for my money!

Troy and Kristina's new house! Feb 2009

Demo has begun! Troy and Kristina just recently got a house, kindof half way between us and Pete's parents. The house was a great deal and will be beautiful once they renovate. They have a 2 car garage, 3 bedrooms, and a pool. : ) They have already picked out cabinets and flooring that I personally am in love with. I can't wait to see it completed!
Troy, Junior and Todd knocked out walls for "demo-day" and it's easy to see how gorgeous this place will end up looking. (Oh yeah, word is there will be a wedding sometime to accompany this new place : ) We're cited, he he he!)
