Edventure Museum! {March 9, 2011}

Well I have given up on photobucket, and went with picasa.  I hope it won't make a difference, but all I know is I can post for the time being!  This was our trip to Columbia with Unsa Aba and Ah Abash (Uncle Alden and Aunt Ashton, my brother and sister.)  The original plan was for the zoo, but there was supposed to rain, so Alden found this Edventure place... awesome.  It was like the Children's Museum in Atlanta we went to but MUCH better.  There were tons of interactive learning things to do and she loved it.  I see us going a lot this summer when it's too hot for the zoo.

Check out this exhibit!  This kid was 40 feet tall sitting down!  You could climb around inside him to learn about the heart and mind.  Reagan is on his foot in this picture, look close! (I got in trouble for putting her up there, I was so embarrassed...)

The grocery store was Reagan's favorite.  She did all of her own shopping and Unsa Aba helped her learn how to scan her groceries.  Fun!

This picture makes me laugh.  I got a good one after Alden backed up a little more, but this was my favorite.  I have done that exact job for years, and it is so funny to see him trying to get her to stay put : )  You were wonderful Unsa Aba!  Thank you!

This whole section with the diner was to learn about the digestive tract.  Not that I have a picture of it, but right next to this was a tooting bench.  That little couch let out the most hysterical, random farts.  Reagan never even heard it- Alden just kept it going making me and Ashton laugh.

Love this one.

Lunch was at Longhorn's.  Perfect meal.

She had already rang up her and Alden's groceries, paid for them with his credit card, and was going for round 3 with her cart when she saw a little boy headed for the checkout.  She ran back, hopped on her platform and went to work.  She scanned all his food, just like Unsa Aba taught her, and another little girl much older even came over to wait in line.  I was so proud of her, watching my little 2 year old taking care of business.

Pop!

Oh, now when I go through the self check out at the grocery store, she insists on helping me. I give her everything but glass jars and she scans and bags, standing in the back of the cart so she can reach.  : )

Nothing but smiles from me.

xoxo
