Fresh Air {October 25, 2011}

I knoooow... I'll get to Disney soon.

Sorry I haven't gotten the Magic Kingdom posted yet (ahem, love you Aunt TT)  But I have had some of the most FUN sessions lately!  Just playing catch up.

Sitting here editing tonight, I can't stop smiling looking at these two little faces~ I had to share.

I knew their sweet mom Carrie years ago when she got married,
and it was such a joy to see her kids all grown up : )

I hope little Carly cherishes this picture of herself, running carefree in her daddy's cotton fields.

Back to work... I love my job!!!

Classic... Disney Animal Kingdom { October 3, 2011}

I just had to share : )

This picture means a lot to me because the Coca-Cola logo was created by my Great Uncle.
Jim Pace.

He was a wonderful artist, and brother of the most missed person in my whole world...
my Grandmother Kaki.

Reagan carries on the name, Reagan Pace Hawkes.

We love you, I wish you could have met my Reagan~

Kaki would have loved her.

Disney Day 2 ~ Epcot {October 2, 2011}

The Nemo ride... it was kinda cool, Reagan liked it, and luckily we just walked right on.  I cannot imagine waiting in an hour long line to ride.  There were a few screens, and fish tanks with Nemo and the characters projected in/on the tanks.  Maybe I wasn't impressed because the Atlanta Aquarium has spoiled me.  All about the baby loving it though! : )

This was beautiful, inside the Mexico Pavilion. You pass through the little shops to a nice slow boat ride through Mexico. Reagan loved it.

~Germany Pavilion~

Oh... Italy was my favorite.

Their hands in this picture is my favorite part...

We had just walked up to the Italy Pavilion and let Reagan run ahead of us a little.  Junior was watching her while I got the camera set, and when I looked up and she was just standing there.
Like this.
Completely frozen.

I couldn't shoot fast enough.
She looks older to me in this picture, just the look on her face says so much.
And the perfect dainty feet just melts me : )

Junior had to stop for lunch before we had lunch.  Yep.  On the way to our incredible lunch reservations, he stopped for a hot dog... and the bottomless pit ate both of course, ha! : )

After the pre-lunch lunch, we got changed and ready for lunch with the princesses.

This was one of the BEST things we did this whole trip.
 Akershus for lunch
There are 3 princess character restaurants at Disney, and this one was my choice because you get to see several princesses.  They don't guarantee who you'll get to see, but we ended up with all our favorites : )
Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, and Too-Whitz.

I had been calling everyday for weeks trying to get into this place, and we ended up with a reservation for 4 (us and mom.)  We got there early, checked in at the front, and they come out and 'announce' your reservations when they're ready for you.  So cool.  : )  We walked into a formal picture with Belle, and then after we sat down the other 4 princesses came to every one's table.

So walking in, I had no idea what to expect with Reagan and the princesses.  She is a very outgoing kid, but sometimes she can be a little shy at first.  Junior walked her up to Belle, and I stayed back with the video and mom had the camera (little confusing at the time.)  Belle knelt down and scooped her up in a huge hug, and Reagan sat down right next to her.  She didn't say anything, just stared at her with a little grin on her face, amazed.  You could just see her trying to process what was actually happening...
'Belle, right here?!'

I never fully understood or felt the 'Magic' until that moment.

We read the books and dance to all the songs, but having her experience this was surreal to me.
She was so full of admiration... I could barely see through my tears.  How embarrassing.

And she couldn't be more eager to watch the video as soon as we sat at our table.

~Cinderella~

~Aurora~

~Ariel~

This first picture is one of my favorites.  Can you tell she was a tad excited?!

They called all the princesses up to join in the parade around the restaurant.  She pranced around right in front of Ariel, so proud of herself.

The long awaited Too-Whitz.

She loves her so much, and watched every move until she came to our table.

I have to say she was my favorite.
She was the most 'in character' princess, from her mannerisms to her squeaky voice.

Loved her.

And so, did, Reagan.

Oh yeah... This will be framed for her room : )

"Reagan, how much did you like seeing the princesses?"

"DIS MUUUUUUCH!!!!"
This cracks me up, because she tells us this all the time.  She reaches all the way behind her back and says "my wuv you all the way around!"

Some new funky face she started. Haven't seen it much lately though, thank goodness.
Looked kinda like Two-Face from Batman.

Does it not?!?!

Our food was AWESOME~  Wish they served that chicken somewhere close to home.

Magic Kingdom next : )
