Being a kid again... {August 5, 2010}

Reagan LOVES to play under the sheets on our bed!
These pictures are treasures to me, and just represent her happy little self at this age. She always gets Junior and I get under with her, (and Sissy if she'll come) and waves her hands in big 'wax-on' circles, which means 'We're ALL here!'  (Another piece of the sign language she's created-)  She also gets a big kick out of sitting/pouncing on Daddy's chest, aka 'being squashed.'  She has done that since her legs were long enough to reach around him.

Having Reagan gives us the perfect excuse to be kids again.  It's hard to remember all the pressures and responsibilities involved in being an adult when you're giggling under the sheets with your baby.
Yeah... I never want to forget today.
I know I'll blink, and this will seem like 3 years ago. It just proves again that it's not all about the props you use for pictures, but the moments you're making together.

These are some of my favorite pictures right now. I really could NOT narrow down anymore, I love them all! You know, I think I will have to be hanging these in a grouping above her bed. I love them. Maybe 3 float wraps, I'll post when I get something up.

Leddie and Aubrey in town! {August 4, 2010}

We love these girls.

Pete's Mom got the girls for the last 2 weeks of summer this year.  The first week she was working so I kept them a couple days and then the 2nd week we all went to the beach.  Junior, Reagan and I were only there one night, since he had to work, but it was worth going just to let Reagan play with her cousins again.  (Beach pics will be coming soon-)

Here are some from when I kept the girls...

Can you tell she loves them!?

This was right after Nana dropped them off on her way to work, Day 1, and Reagan was about to POP she was SOOO excited they came to play with her at HER house! : )

What happened to that beautiful face!?

We went swimming at PawPaw's house, that way Ashton could help me with the kids.  They couldn't be more spread out.  Leddie in the deep end and diving, Aubrey in the shallow but wants the deep- and can't have it, and Reagan some in and some out.  And there was no discussion as to when she was in or out.  Whew!  It was fun though!

I love the look.  She will look identical to this when she's 18, I know it.
Watch out Aaron.

The girls really played well together for me.  I was so proud of them.
They have always been horrible about fighting, typical sister stuff, and EVERYTHING has to be EXACTLY EQUAL between them.  I kept them last summer a little over a month and they drove me CRAZY with all the bickering.  I explained to them the minute they walked in the door that Reagan was learning from them, and I don't want any whining, fighting, or ugly words or tones thrown around.  Nana also prepped them on the way there and it seemed to work.
They were on their best behavior, but Nana said they saved it up for her.
She called me after she got home to apologize for them fighting and I had to tell her they were great!?  They just had to let it all out on the car ride home apparently.

The girls LOVE horses, so we went to the barn of course.  Guiness was the only horse I let them touch, since Dewey has been sick and I don't know the rest of them as well.  I wish I could have let them ride but Tracey and Cynthia were out of town, vacationing in Paris.....!

Catch-Up! {July 2010}

I have had the HARDEST time with my computer lately.  I started this post 4 days ago, and have just figured it out.  I couldn't get the images to size right!?

So for this post, I'm just throwing in a bunch just from the month of July.  Not much to say, just a lot to share.  Maybe a little random... enjoy!   : )

She loves to feed her Sissy. The whole bowl sometimes, piece by piece.
It's so cute, Cirs just sits there and waits to be served.
'Ahhh, the life.'

Mia's birthday party-  (Aunt Allie's neice)

Reagan had a good time playing in the bouncy house and in Mia and Aven's playroom.  Everyone was out in the livingroom, and I couldn't get Reagan to go out there!  The highlight was the pink princess tent.  She would lean back in it, on all the stuffed animals and let out a big "Ahhh!" like she just got off a hard day of work.  We WILL be getting her something like it for her birthday.  The closest we have is her toybox, she has been cleaning all the toys out and playing in it ever since.
