Still here! {March 1, 2014}

I cracked up today when it was brought to my attention that my last post says "Merry Christmas." Wow. It's almost spring! We have been quite busy lately and my blog time has been bumped down the priority list : ( I have been trying to work on our family pictures, that sadly only get downloaded and then live in lightroom. I'm really 6 months behind on those, and since we've been renovating, packing and moving over the last couple months I've really only taken pictures with my iPhone. I've promised to pick up the real camera more, it's just new routines take some adjusting. So we've been settled in the new place for about a month now, still finishing up projects when we can and trying to get the studio set up also. In the last month, we have had snow and an ice storm, leaving all of Augusta without power for days which slowed us down a little. Sleeping in the living room and the house smelling like a campfire was not our idea of fun. : /
By far the greatest highlight for Reagan (and us) since moving has been having dinners and tea parties with friends. We were busting at the seams before we moved and just weren't able to have friends over. Feels so nice to have a dining room table now!!! Things are coming together pretty well, I just have some organizing to do, hang portraits on the wall, bookcases to build, and 20 other projects, but we'll get there soon : )

In the mean time, I'm going to try and post a picture now and then since I can't sit down for a full post much anymore. This was taken right after Scarlett's first birthday in Hilton Head this past September. I'm just now seeing it today... My baby has curls now! I have GOT to get caught up ; )

Hilton Head {July 4, 2012}

This was a quick trip to Hilton Head, just to take Reagan to play with her cousins. The condo was going to have 5 kids and Pete's parents already, so one night would be enough for me.

We got to spend two days on the beach with them and dinner out at Long Horn's.

For the first time EVER, I only used my cell phone and never brought my Nikon down to the beach. It was strange for me, but I was too pregnant, too hot, and there were too many kids to worry about lugging it down there. We still took Reagan out with the real camera for the shots of her above... : ), but my little iPhone and Lifeproof (waterproof) case suited me just fine for swimming shots!

It was a fun trip, love these kids... : )

Hilton Head & Disney! {May 5, 2012}

So, our final big vacation before the baby comes.

We booked our 2nd Disney trip for the first week of May, knowing I couldn't take the heat of the summer. It just so happened that our Hilton Head week was immediately before so we stopped in for a few days on the way down to Orlando. Mom and Tracey met us at the resort in Florida and Pete's parents went with us to Hilton Head too.

This was their first time in Disney!!! Tracey's too!!!

I really do love my iPhone... and Lifeproof case. : ) I think I only brought the real camera down to the water one time.

Disney!!!

Last time we slam packed our whole week with tons of stuff but took it down a notch this time. We only spent 2 days in the Magic Kingdom, one with the group and one with just the 3 of us. To fill our other days, we had an awesome resort pool and Downtown Disney to visit. Reagan enjoyed being the tour guide (like she's a seasoned pro) for Aunt TT, Nana and Poppy.
