Carnival Cruise Part I {October 10, 2010}

Oh how we have waited for this. 

Cruising is our favorite way to vacation, and were so excited to take Reagan for her first.  We had a group to go with, the new (to us) van for the trip down, and DVD player to watch Nemo and Sound of Music.  We couldn't have gotten there fast enough.

We arrived the day before and stayed in an AWESOME hotel - 'Raddisson Resort at the Port' - The pool was beautiful, the food was great, parked our car for free all week and a free shuttle dropped us at the door at the port in the morning.  Of course the FIRST thing we did was the pool : )

We're here!  First day was perfect, great weather, and everything I would expect from a Carnival cruise.  I didn't want a balcony, but we had an ocean view on an upper deck - same as the pool and casual dining.  Perfect. 



The first meal on the boat was PIZZA of course.  "Pah-pah!"  Reagan learned where the pizza bar was on the first day, and you could be on that end of the boat and she would try and drag you to the back to get pizza.  We ate it everyday.  No joke.  Open 24 hours... And it was SOOO good : )

Okay we don't let our two year old gamble, I promise.  This was just good timing for her 'winning shot' picture, but she was really only in the seat for maybe 30 seconds.  I'm pretty sure you had to be 18, so we grabbed her and ran after she got to push a few buttons. 

How tempting are those lights and buttons to a kid anyway... Really!

There are some GOOOOD sunsets from this trip.  Just about EVERY one was gorgeous, with a perfect little moon sliver.  I'll send more your way soon.  Promise.
