Reagan Reading {August 13, 2009}

Reagan's favorite thing to do (this week) is to sit with a book and flip pages. The tries REAL hard to only get one page in her dainty little fingers, and flips front to back, over and over. She has a couple favorite books, because I tickle her when I read a certain page in them. The ABC's, 'B stands for Bee' (and I "buzzzz" all over her and tickle her) and then there is the good old fashioned This Little Piggy. Oh, and it is absolutly histerical when I tell her she has stinky feet (yeah right.) I don't know if I've said this lately... I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look familiar? No doubt a Hawkes. This is Pete's Dad's brother who came to visit from Utah. Bill is the most likable person, just a red-head version of Pete's Dad (you know what I mean). The more I was around him, the more amazed I was at how much they are alike. They haven't seen each other in 34 YEARS, and hadn't really met either one's family until now. Unbeleivable. There was never a reason for it, other than life gets busy. Everyone enjoyed thier visit, and don't plan on waiting another 34 years for the next one : )

Uncle Bill and his wife Connie have been married for 41 years and have 12 children. You read right, a dozen. As for grandchildren, 21 so far. Wow, did I say they've been busy?
