Mom broke the pond... April 2009
Yes... didn't know that was possible huh? I always knew my mom could do anything... Well, their 11 acre pond is now down about 6 feet of water. Okay, okay, she thought she broke it, but coincidentaly the day after she tried to clean off the drain pipe, it broke. Even though she is told there is no way she could have done it. Water was being sucked out of a 3 foot pipe, full speed for 3 days, and left them with just about nothing. They called someone out to look at it, and they said there's nothing they could do until it stops draining, a diver would just get sucked down the pipe.
Dave has since then gotten out there and installed a new pipe, but no one really knows how long it will take to fill back up... (I say at least a couple years) The whole situation has been VERY upsetting, and everyone knows how much the pond is enjoyed out there at Pine Camp.
