Pete's Dad just had his shoulder surgery this past Friday. Everything went well, but of course it will be a long recovery. His shoulder was similar to my mom's, where the
rotator cuff had to be completely put back together. His muscle had torn away from the bone and they had to reattach it along with cleaning up the bone around it. (That's my
unejumakated description of it anyway) He SAYS he's not going to push it, and will let it heal all the way... but we all know he's a
Hawkes, and well, stubborn comes with the package. We love him. : )
