Three months pregnant! May 4th, 2008

I have really felt wonderful so far, no complaints really. I will be 14 weeks this Tuesday, and I don't really think I should be showing yet, but uh, let's just say my 'skinny Polo's' don't fit like they used to.

You see, the thing is, I didn't have any morning sickness, and so I haven't lost weight like some women in the beginning of their pregnancy. Yeah, that's what I like to say it is anyway. But I have only gained 3-4 lbs so far, it just feels like more.

We are starting a list on the frig of names, and I don't think I won for my great-grandfather's name... Alfeus Waldo. Yeah, Junior didn't really go for that. : ) We've got some time...

My next sonogram is in about 5-6 weeks, and we can find out what we're having! I've been so amazed following along in all the week-by-week books. I'm officially starting my 2nd trimester Tuesday and the baby will be 4 inches (from head to booty) and all organs, hair, nails, EVERYTHING is all there, it just needs to grow. That is so amazing to us. We are thrilled and can't wait till Cirsie is a big sister!

Accident! May 1st, 2008

I was coming home from Nani and Pops for dinner, and I had my first real accident. Full grown deer charged my car from the right side of the road, and there was no avoiding it. Everything was okay with me, but the doe didn't make it! Pete's dad went back and found her on the side of the road. Not until about an hour later did it really scare me about what could have happened if she had gone through my windsheild, or spun my car, or anything really. Someone was looking out for me! Junior was quite proud of how I handled the situation. (he loves me, I just know it) The damage to the car looks cosmetic, but it's probably going to cost more to fix it than the car is even worth. We don't know yet what direction to go, we have to talk to our insurance company first... I know, the important thing is that my bean and I are okay. : )
